I have some DJI drones and height limit is 500m AGL. But for Matrice 30T, is it also 500m AGL limits? Planning to to support mountain rescues but if there is a 500m AGL limit from take off point then it is quite limiting for mountain search and rescue.

i just read the manual and is it fair to say 1500m is the max height? (if the DJI Pilot 2 app states unrestricted geo zone)

Hi there, thank you so much fo ryour concern, the maximum AGL the M30T can support is 1500 metres. But the default in pilot2 is 500 metres. You can manually activate 1500 metres in pilot2. But to activate this you need to make sure that your  flight area is more than 50km from the nearest dji dock station, if you appliy for an unlocking in the area, then there is no altitude restriction.

Thank you. Is there a way to find out prior to getting the m30t if there is a DJI dock operating near my intended area of operations? If I am closer than 50km to a DJI Dock, does it height restrict me because of proximity to DJI Dock?

Thank you, I looked up the flysafe map and unable to see any area of concern or that is out of ordinary from controlled anirspace. (Intended operations is quite far from controlled airspace) unsure how having a Dji dock around will affect height limits if any.

Sorry for the late response. After confirmation, you are advised to apply for unlocking if you are within 50km from DJI Dock and want to exceed 500m height to 1500m height.

In my situation, the mountain in question only has a 1500' vertical. It's not near any airports so that's not an issue.
However, the 400' DJI altitude restriction is. How can I get up there ?
