On recent trip to Athens I was overwhelmed with grandiousity of Acropolis.
Even though most of the areas around Acropolis are no fly zones, I was able to find a spot, where it was legal to fly and was fortunate to record a bit of a panorama over Acropolis and the city.

Nice.  Curious since I'll be visiting next year, what did you use to figure out where you can fly?

Ah ok cool thanks I've seen that site before.  The rules seem confusing there and I can't seem to find any clear answers.  They are following EASA, but I think they also want you to get permission first before taking off, do you know if that is true?

I saw where you have to go to that site and provide coordinates, data/time of flight etc to get permission first.  If true that would seem like a pain to do.
