i think this is something nobody did think of so far, but it will come up soon into 2024 and probably make a lot of pilots angry:

if i buy the mini 4 pro before first of january, i can remove the C0 label and get the 500 meter limit as we all know - but: what if i buy the dji care refesh package together with the drone and then my drone gets destroyed/lost in 2024 -> will i get a replacement drone now with still the 500m limitation (or being able to remove the C0 lael), removing or will i get a C0 replacement drone, witj no possibility to get the 500 m limit back?

the same goes for mini 3 pro care refresh, which is still valid in 2024. will mini 3 pilots receive a c0 mini 3 pro with an unremovable 120m limit?


and dont tell me in 2024 i can upgrade the minis to a C1 label, it would not be helpful for a donre below 250g...

If you applied for the removal of the C0 on your unit by 2023 but have a DJI Care refresh and apply for a replacement in 2024, the drone will be replaced with a drone with a C0 sticker, then you are allowed to apply for C1 afterward. not really. c1 means more limitations and more costs, drone license etc. why not giving somebody with a declassified drone a declassified drone again? doesnt open anything for new users to change classification after 1st of january. it is exactly what i feared as an answer.
