Hello,

On the Pocket 2, when I connected to the Mimo app on my iPhone (via WiFi), the Pocket 2 screen went blank.  Which I liked because it improved the battery life on the Pocket 2.

On the Pocket 3, the screen remains on when connected to the Mimo app.  Is there a setting I am missing that blanks the screen on the Pocket 3 when connected to the Mimo App?  If not, what is the reasoning to leave the screen enabled to just drain the battery?

You can enable the screen to blank when you are recoding after x minutes.    It's in settings when you swipe down.

However, you can set the "scrn off when rec" function to 3s, and when the unit starts to record, the screen on the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 will off after 3s. Furthermore, the screen will turn off automatically after around one minute of inactivity. Hope this helps. We appreciate your understanding.

That's odd.  I thought mine went blank when connected to Mimo.  Must look more closely!

Hi, just wondering if you know when the screen goes off after inactivity will the pocket 3 remain connected to my phone so I can start recording when needed?

Hi there. Thank you for patiently waiting. Upon further review, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 won't power off and just turns off the screen and that will not disconnect with the DJI Mimo app. You can test it and check if the phone will not disconnect during the screen off. Hope this helps.
