I missed this announcement, but fortunately I wasn't flying due to the high winds.

I think the CAA and NATS need to not rely on socialedia for getting these urgent airspace announcements out.

I checked the NOTAMS on Christmas Eve and missed that one too,   perhaps Santa wasnt in my area at that time?
