As part of the new firmware I've noticed that I can't change from taking photos to taking a video without landing the copter first.

Do we know the reason why? And can this be changed back please!

The release note from September 07, 2105 had a note in them about that, but I'm on the wrong computer to pull it up.

DJI has made another change today and now shows September 08, 2015 for a release.

If you want to change from "single shot," "burst mode," HDR, "time lapse," etc., you have to exit from photo mode first. Seems kinda strange, but that's what it implies.

I don't take many photos - almost always run video, so it doesn't matter to me.

Maybe the update dated 8 September changes that.

I checked the download page and the firmware still dated 9/7/15, am i missing something here ?

I noticed the last few flights a similar problem of it hesitating or locking up when using the app to switch from photo to video.  But when I used the hard buttons on the remote, it seemed to work.

I smell a gas leak in this firmware. Time to ground my phantom till the dust settles.

It's ok no harm done

So, can someone from DJI let us know why this has become an issue?
I had to land to change from capturing photos to capturing video. The toggle switch is greyed out whilst the P3 is in the air.
