This is really weird as yall can see in the video.

It happens when the camera isn't used for a few days. No idea if it's fw or hw fault.

I'm also having this problem. Furthermore, it also turns off by itself and sometimes a message appears that the battery is abnormal, but the same battery in another Osmo Action that I have works normally.

Hi there. Sorry about the trouble. Please try the procedures below,
1. Please ensure that the firmware is in the latest. Mount the battery to the camera, connect the camera to DJI Mimo, and update the camera firmware to the latest version if prompted.
2. If the camera firmware is of the latest version, restart the camera after removing the battery and mounting it again.
3. Restore the camera to its original factory settings.
4. If the issue persists, check whether the battery or the contact pin of the battery compartment is damaged. If yes, send the damaged item back to DJI for inspection.
* If the battery and the contact pin of the battery compartment have no damage but the issue persists, send the camera and battery back for inspection.
You can submit a repair application via Online Repair Request. We appreciate your patience. Have a nice day.

I discovered the problem with my OA4, it sits on the handlebars of my motorcycle and, unfortunately, it can't handle the vibration. It is undeniable that the image quality is very good, but the camera does not have the robustness of an Osmo Action 1. To solve the problem, I added a piece of rubber to the battery cover. So far the problem has not occurred again.

I have a similar "problem", yet not the same.

When I transfer data via USB-C to my PC and unplug it afterwards, the screen stays black but the camera is still on.

Holding the power button then shutdowns the camera, but 5 seconds later it boots up again.

This only happens once after transferring data via USB, but everytime I'm doing it.

It's not that big of a deal, yet pretty annoying, as it already happened that I didn't noticed the camera rebooting and it stayed on until the battery was drained.

Pls check. I am unable to connect to DJI Mimo app because the camera is stuck at the infinite restart loop which I can only get out of by pressing the Record button for more than 10 seconds.
I have already tried removing SD card and battery several times but that has not help.

My dji Osmo action 4 keeps coming up with high water pressure and when you turn it of it keeps starting up then shutting down only to start up again  yet it’s not been in any water this all Started after loading the New Firmware  and very annoying you try to charge it but you have the camera on while charging only to get Hot … so it’s got to be a firmware issue,it’s getting to the stage now of not using it and reverting back to the GoPro instead !!! Really thought the action 4 was a good camera but now having my doubts… had to take battery out as it was getting to hot so The Camera is un fit for purpose at the moment sad to say yet it’s less than a year old …so googling about this all I see is lots of other people having the same problem so 110% dji firmware problem so come on dji sort it for All of us we shouldn’t need to send off the camera for inspections just check your firmware or send us a new firmware to fix this Problem !!!!

Hi there,

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing.

Having the same problem with my OA4. After shutting the camera manually it starts again without me touching it after like 1 minute or so.
Weirdly this doesn't seem to happen every time. Just occationally. Thought it might be the wireless mic triggering it but I also got this to happen with wireless mic 2 turned off.

It has:
- New Lexar Professional 1066x 256GB U3 A2 V30 microSDXC
- Firmware version: 01.04.05.10
- Camera firmware version: 10.04.00.07
(don't know why these are separated in the camera menu but they are)

Exported log from camera just after this happened: https://drive.google.com/file/d/ ... y0/view?usp=sharing

Same issue here. After I turn off my OA4, it will sometimes turn on by itself again. It only happens sometimes and not all the times. With my limited testing, it happens most often after it hasnt been used for a few hours. If it happens and then I constantly turn it on and off to try find the cause, it will stop almost as if the camera is warmed up to be used correctly.
