Hi,

Is it possible to film 90 minutes straight with the Osmo 4 action (without splitting in small clips)?

Thanks

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out. This will depend on what resolution you are using. Please note that the DJI Osmo Action 4 has optimized the video splitting feature, now the videos will only be split when they reach approximately 16GB in size. Hope this helps. We appreciate your valued support.

So it can reach 90 minutes (possibly) when you put resolution on 1080 or 720?

does the A4 do 720P only on livestream or older acton camera.  If one file sizes are important it will not be a dji camera for it, why these chapters are made, Rules for one, and will what if somewhere in the middle th clip got currupted, and there you go

Hello. It is still not possible, the actual recording time is related to the maximum bit rate under different video resolutions and the actual recording environment and is not a fixed value. Please note that due to the limitation of the SD card file system and in order to protect the safety of your footage, the video will be automatically split when the size of the video reaches 16G size. Thank you for your understanding.

so we expanded to 4Xt he file size of 4Gb to 16Gb correct?  if so then we need for members what is called a Lower Bitrate then the actual size of  recording will increase but the lack of quality as you see in Pixals is not suggested,  because not all of us do 100 inch tv sets but 4 inch smartphones  that are 8K  top quality  so to speak.

A medium bit rate setting would be nice because it would use less space on the SD card for all day recording .
