Hey guys,

My tripod was stolen and connected to it was my Pocket 3 tripod adapter which I depend on for my work (see picture below). Does anyone know where I can find a replacement? That little thing was a key accessory for my Pocket 3 and I can't find a replacement unit anywhere!

I didn't realize DJI don't sell tripod mount in their official store.

Try aliexpress or other shops for third party tripod mount.

Battery Extension also has tripod mount. Or you can try Extension bracket mount with GoPro to 1/4" screw adapter.

Thanks, I ordered that one suggested above. I hope it securely attaches so the camera doesn’t fall when on the tripod. I personally wish DJI would sell this accessory since it would be nice to have a couple of them. I have the battery handle but I film everyday and I don’t like the idea of constantly charging the main camera battery as I think it would shorten the life. It also makes it unwieldy to carry in my pocket.

This looks like a good solution - much more streamlined - can get a couple of these and use them as quick release mounts for moving the P3 between mounts!

Thank you! I ordered it and will post back here when it arrives. If it’s good, I will get a few of them so they can remain permanently attached to my tripods allowing for quick docking without having to screw the OP3 in everytime. I just hope this is secure and my OP3 doesn’t fall off!

Yes, it locks in very reliably.
And it charges and transfers data well.

Sure. It charges and transfers data just fine, and it holds up just as well as the genuine article.

Originally, it was Mount Included.
Some sellers send it without this.

(I changed some of the wording in my post because you said it didn't include a mount.)

I once received one without a mount even though it was more expensive. This seller charges a lot for basic shipping, but it gets cheaper if you buy a bunch.  


If you're only looking for one or two, I'd recommend finding a seller who sells them for around $7 or $8 with free shipping.

Accidental Post

I received the 3rd party tripod adapter from Shopee. It cost me about $10. It’s about half the size as the OEM version, which is fantastic. It feels like a solid build, made out of metal, not plastic. It grips onto the OP3 solidly and gives me confidence that it will hold. One big negative is that the pass through USB does NOT work. I take it as a defective unit, but at least it’s still usable as a tripod. I’m going to order another few from a different company so I can permanently attach them to my two different tripods. That would mean I can dock my OP3 quickly without having to screw it in when needed. I’ll let you know if the USB doesn’t work on the next one I order..

@Rishio just a very small favor if you could (pretty please!) Don't post photos of the adapter in every reply....  i'm waiting on the arrival of mine from AliExpress...  not too concerned with the USB-C connection not working.

Sure, I didn’t know I did since I was using my iPhone and it didn’t show it. Was it annoying? The usb-c pass through should work - I just had a lemon. That is not a big issue for me either but the company is sending a new one.. **JUST REALIZED I DOUBLE POSTED. DELETED FIRST ONE**
