There’s an ongoing FlySafe limited-incident with some Mavics unable to takeoff after an update.
Let’s make a scenario: a drone hits a civilian aircraft by accident and authorities ask DJI to impose a general grounding.
What happens technically?
All RCs with Wifi enabled will receive an auto-disable command, right?
FlySafe update will also probably blacklist all regions to prevent takoff.
I know it’s speculation but still interesting to consider…

Hi there. Is this regarding the FlySafe Database Error? We are sorry for the inconvenience. We have located this issue and we have released a new Flysafe database version (32DB) to fix this issue, please update the Flysafe database to the latest version (from 30DB to 32DB) to solve the current problem. Thanks for your understanding and support.

If the authorities invoked a general grounding,   there would be a NOTAM for it and we would have to abide by that rule whether DJI sent an update or not.
