My latest work created with the mavic 2 zoom, from Calabria - southern Italy, Fiumefreddo Bruzio.
Among the ancient defensive walls, largely preserved with their fortified gates and lookout towers, stands the village of Fiumefreddo Bruzio, one of the oldest towns on the Calabrian Tyrrhenian coast. Its origins are mysterious and date back to the Middle Ages, around the year one thousand: this ancient history saw the town become a center that preserves important elements of great artistic and cultural value, such as the sixteenth-century names of the main buildings, the nearby Abbey of Santa Maria di Fontelaurato, but above all the remains of the seventeenth-century castle of the Alarcon Mendoza, with the precious frescoes by Salvatore Fiume. And finally, going up towards the top of the village, it is a must to stop and admire the view, which embraces the sea, up to the horizon.
