Hi!
I used my new Osmo Action 4 for scuba diving footage. My settings were 4k/60 standard w/ rocksteady, DLOG M, all default settings, everything auto except ISO limited to 100-800.
Unfortunately, there is tons of red noise in the videos which makes makes my footage almost unusable. I never had this kind of issue with my OA1.

Here are two example videos:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uZKf17XsyOZflWHRx_5JLMmf5Fa2MEXU/view?usp=drive_link
I also attached a detailed screen capture of one of the videos to highlight the red noise: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JRw_l0HJzVvXJbP2tmBh7G_5VVEZM7P3/view?usp=sharing

According to this discussion in the DJI Forum, it could be an AWB or noise reduction issue:

Can you please look into this?
Thank you!

Hi there, we will forward it to our engineer for checking. You can also lower the ISO threshold and decrease the shutter speed. For good lighting conditions, it is recommended to use an ISO range of 0 to 800, while for poorer lighting conditions, an ISO range of 0 to 3200 is suggested.

Hi there, may I ask if you've tried the suggestion above? We got a reply from our engineer saying that per the video, its performance is within the normal range. When using it in underwater scenes, you are advised to manually adjust the white balance to see the effect.

Thank you for looking into this. I had set the ISO to max 800 when I shot the videos. Also, with 4K/60 the shutter speed is at max 1/60.
Adjusting the white balance while filming underwater is not really an option if using the OA4 in a waterproof case (unless you want to mess around with various custom profiles w/ different WB settings).
My assumption was that the color sensor and AWB would do a much better job especially for underwater scenes (which it admittedly does in shallow and bright underwater environments). Below 15m/50ft, it seems to ruin your underwater footage.

Hi there, thank you for your updates. If the issue still persists, you could provide us the device LOG, and the specific testing time point. We will forward to our engineer team to further check.

*You could upload the LOG to a sharedrive and send us a link, thanks.
