Pair of brand jeans in the US: 35 USD (23 GBP), here 108 USD (70 GBP), after the normal application of VAT that would be maybe 45 USD = more than 50% profit.

The P3 Standard is $300 less than the P3 Advanced. The Advanced is $1000.

Whoever wrote that is comparing the P3A to the P3S and calling it a "discount".

In Australia we get the same thing, everything is vastly more expensive than in the US, and many of the US companies are being called on it. Personally, I buy anything I can out of Hong Kong, I get great prices, service and fast cheap shipping.
