Hey Guys,

I am using the O3 with the goggles 2 and it seems it is not possible to use the gimbal dial ? I can calibrate it, but it is not recognised in betaflight, and there is no way to configure the contoller mapping in the goggles ?

Anyone, any help ?
(Love the controller so far, but it has so few buttons, it would be sad to not be able to use the dial wheel)

Hi, Kepnik. Thank you for reaching out. The Gimbal wave wheel and camera and video buttons are invalid and will not map any channel.  Hope this information answers your question. Should you need further assistance, please let us know.

Thanks for you fast reply... so practically 50% of the buttons of the remote control are not usable on the O3 Air Unit, correct ?

As you cant bind them in Betaflight, and cant remap the controller in the goggles it seems dji is selling the controller as bnf but it is not feasible...

Guess I will have to return it and buy another receiver and controller. Thanks anyway !

awesome, thank you VERY MUCH, for the support...
So the big buttons can be used for arming and RTH, so only the dial is not usable.

I guess I can live with that, thank you for the perfect clarification !
Would be great if the dial will be made available in a software update for the future.

Because I love the slim design of the rc !
Have a great day :-)

Hi, I've already posted this question here, but since there was no reply yet and since this bug also affects the gimbal wheel on FPV C2, let me post this question again:

"Hello, I noticed strange behavior of my FPV controller 2 and I wonder, if anyone else noticed such issue.
I'm using my controller on the PC to run fly simulators (Virtual flight, DRL, etc). In addition, I use the controller together with O3 air unit and Goggles 2 to control my drone. Everything is working as expected, except that whenever I connect the controller to O3, the controller can not be fully used in USB mode anymore.
After contacting it to O3, the C1 button, start stop button, recording button, and gimbal wheel are not detected neither in simulator, nor using the joy.cpl Windows tool. The only way to fix this is to hook up the controller with goggles and to run Virtual flight on my Android. I know, this sounds strange, however this is the only temporal fix, I have came up with (temporal=until I connect my O3 again).

I have tried to refresh the firmware, my googles+O3 are updated, I tried the different PCs, USB cables, etc., however it just seems that O3 disables those buttons on the controller somehow and their function can only be restored, once goggles pair with the controller by themselves (without O3) using virtual flight app.

Does anyone have any suggestions about this bug or did anyone experience similar behavior?"

Thank you for any insight.
