I know that you are surposed get apps on the Dji rc, but is there a way like if you link it up to computer and download apps through a usb c cable would that work? Is there a different way?

Hi, Zachari. Thank you for reaching out. DJI RC cannot be used with a third-party app. As for DJI RC, it does not have onboard memory as well as there is no open source for a third-party app to be installed. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

You cannot use third party apps on the DJI RC or DJI RC2. It is only allowed on the DJI RC Pro, but if you don't want to spend 1000€ use an RC-N1 or RC-N2 controller with your smartphone

There are unofficial ways to install apps,  but they tend to run very slow and it's just not worth the hassle.

You use adb to install apps.    But you also need to install a launcher.

Could I transfer apps onto the micro SD card from my computer, then insert it in the DJI rc? Would that work? Thanks

I did this once, but then, if I remember correctly, at the next firmware update all the extra apk were gone.. Also, as you mentioned, it did run everything very slow...

I found the edition of launcher to be a real pain as 99% of the time I just wanted to use the fly app.

You need to have unlocked your RC before you updated past. the .400 release.

In all honesty, I don't think it was worth the time for what the actual RC can do...

It wasnt for me,   I have tweaked the boot order on mine,   the launcher is still there but I dont start it.  

I link my Android phone to computer via cable and download app and games, already got college brawl apk from cogbrawl.com and installed without any problem. so yea it's works.

I keep hearing about third party apps. What about DJI APPS.
