I receive on my screen this message more and more often. It just prevents me to start motors. I got the latest DJI App (not cheap!). My drone is in excellent condition. Compass is calibrated. I always fly it from the same spot. GPS / 17 satellites etc.. What should I do to be able to fly each time? I called DJI in France and in Poland. Their technical services have no clue. My wording is OK:  "WARNING" "dji-care-lock-motor".  That's all. No error number. Even if I uninstall & re-install GoFly. Really needing a good tip to solve this. Anticipated thanks!

Are you using the official DJI Fly App?  the reason I'm asking is it is free to download from DJI Download Center.  Sounds like you might have an unauthorized version off the Play store.  You can get the official and free version (v.1.12.8) here:

I too am wondering WHY you had to pay for an app, the genuine DJI apps are free !!!!!!!!!!!!!

The DJI App is free so you dont have the right app.

I am using the free DJI App installed in my DJI shop and I bought another one on Google play that I don't use yet. Probably a waste of money. But motor blocking problems arised before. To-day, everything is OK.

My Mini 2 was flying perfectly, then after a couple of months and finally nice flying weather I went to use the drone.  The same message appeared   dji-care-lock-motor   

I've checked and No flight restrictions have been introduced

Camera works, so controller and aircraft connected but engines won't start !!!!!!!

DJI exercising over bearing controls.  (I live in the free democratic West)  I've bought a drone that apparently I don't 100% control !!!!!!!!!

Why have you locked my motors ?

Yeah thanks for that, doesn't really answer the question.

Flightlog, and where would that be ? how would I upload that here ?
It won't fly so is there a flight log ??

Screen shot, I've explained the situation in a word picture.

I'm a flyer not a techy, I fly, I take photos for pleasure and work, I then copy the photos from the SD card ..... the extent of my technical ability.

Flightlogs are on the RC or mobile device, example of a log = DJIFlightRecord_2024-01-13_[15-50-18].txt
On the link an explantion how to find.
Video recording is better than text only about an issue.
