I think it's quite a strong combination this way.
Something I could be trying to sell someday.

I read an article a while back about what inspires people.  Seems that art, nature, people, events, and personal experiences are extremely helpful in getting inspired.

Interesting start to the morning for me.  I was sitting on the dock and sipping my morning coffee when I spotted 2 wild turkeys strutting their stuff about 20 yards away.  I know they could see me but they didn't run off.

It sure seemed like they were tame.  I'll have to keep an eye out for them more often.  The 2024 wild turkey spring season opens March 16 and runs through April 21.

A bag, in the context of fishing and hunting, is a quantity of fish caught or game killed, normally given as number of animals. Our laws restrict the number of animals killed through bag limits.

You were spot on.  You can only hunt and kill 2 turkeys per season.

There are a couple of large turkey farms in central Florida that raise turkeys to sell to meat plants and processor.  They have no limit as they were not hunted but grown for slaughter.

Turkeys are larger than chickens, ducks, and geese, making them economical to serve to a crowd.  Also, turkeys didn't provide milk like cattle, or edible eggs, so slaughtering one for its considerable meat just made sense to North American homesteaders and that tradition has carried own since.  It's the favored meat for Thanksgiving.  

Personally, my favorite is seafood.

Turkey has a rich taste as compared to chicken and has almost half the calories of chicken.  Turkey is "heart healthy" and a better choice for people watching their cholesterol levels because it has less cholesterol than chicken.

I do eat turkey on a sandwich or once in a while roasted turkey.  I don't mind chicken but honestly I really am more into seafood.  I eat a lot of farm raised salmon, shrimp, tuna steaks, baked catfish, crab and occasionally lobster.
