Hello! I bought avata as my first FPV drone, I want to fly cheaper drones first to avoid breaking my avata. Can I use the Goggles Integra and FPV RC with non-dji drones?

The only way to use DJI Goggles Integra and/or the DJI FPV Controller 2 with non-DJI drones is with an FPV drone built with the DJI O3 unit. And since the the DJI O3 unit by itself costs $229 USD, that's not really cheaper.

I'm not sure if you can get DJI Care Refresh, but that would be the cheapest option to be able to fly without worrying about damage. And honestly, the DJI Avata is a good starting place for flying FPV having Normal, Sport and Manual modes.

You can use the RC2 and the Integra with Caddx Vista drones as well. I just found this video for binding them: The Vista is around 100 to 150 bucks. You may try to get a used quad or build one of your own. But fansf240 is right that the Avata is an easy drone to learn with and fairly crash resistant. Also if you're learning M mode (which should be the goal) you can flick back into S with one switch and are completely safe again. Also you might want to get a "real" simulator like Velocidrone or Liftoff for around 20 bucks to learn before you actually fly in M or with a "real" fpv drone. If you're serious about flying fpv then learn M (or acro in normal fpv drones) as it opens up more possibilities.

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out. The DJI Goggles Integra and DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 can only be used with DJI Drones. We cannot guarantee that these components will work with non-DJI products as we haven't tested them. Should you have other inquiries, feel free to contact us. Have a nice day!
