I see many people asking for waypoints and similar things for drones that are not waypoint capable. I understand these requests are likely to never be implemented.
However there's simple software only feature that is easily (I suppose) implementable and satisfying most of cases where waypoints or other similar features are requested.
This is ability to add custom user-created layer to the map. It can be KML, GPX, geojson or whatever, not really matter.
No need to modify drone software, only display map layer on the controller.
One can create reference points, guidelines etc. It will be displayed on the map and drone pilot can use it to position drone for shots, fly along guidelines etc.

Can we please have some way to add custom layer to the map?
