Has anyone been able to update DJI Mic 2 "Transmitter" on a Windows based computer? I've tried on two computers with no luck. Downloaded the firmware, followed all the directions and no success. The Receiver firmware updates fine. Every YouTube video showing updates to the transmitter show the process only on Apple computers

Hi there. Sorry about the trouble. Please try the procedure below:
1. Download the firmware update package from the Downloads page of DJI Mic 2; https://www.dji.com/global/downloads/products/mic-2
2. Ensure that the receiver is powered off and the transmitter is on. Connect the transmitter or receiver to your computer using a standard USB-C cable;
3. Put the downloaded firmware update package (file with .bin suffix) under the root directories of the transmitters and receiver;
4. Disconnect from your computer, and the transmitters and receiver will start the firmware update automatically.
1. If the update fails, download and copy the firmware again and reboot the transmitters and receiver. Repeat until the firmware is updated successfully.
2. Remove the mobile phone adapter from the receiver before connecting it to the computer for firmware update.

Thanks for the reply but no it doesn't work. I've tried the process many times. Can you confirm that the new Firmware upload firmware works on a Windows 11 based computer. Do you have a video or detailed instructions for uploading to a Windows 11 based computer. All the videos I've seen on YouTube show the upload on Apple computers.

Hi. Are you having trouble downloading the firmware to your Windows 11 computer from the DJI website?

No, once it's downloaded and I place the file in the Transmitter folder, nothing happens. Per the directions, the update should happen automatically. It doesn't.

Hi, I get this error when trying to update. what should I do ? Update failed. Restart aircraft or contact DJI Support if the issue persists.(0x11010500044C)

I've had the exact same problem on my Mac. Have tried dozens of times, it's driving me nuts. Very disappointed  :-/

I'm having the same issues. I've attempted this on Mac and 2 different PC's, it just has a massage RX failed to update the firmware, please try again. I've tried at least 10 times. What's worse is everything seemed to be ok and working, but now when I'm about to shoot, in the middle of receiving audio, the receiver suddenly gets an updating firmware message and freezes up... totally made me panic during my last wedding!!! Thank god I set the receivers to record and was able to pull audio from that, but until I got home, I had no idea if there was usable audio or not. WTF DJI?!?!

Hi, I've tried all this dozens of times without success.  I am unable to update the firmware, which is stuck at 04.04.06.11 on both the receiver (RX) and transmitters (TX1 and TX2). I have downloaded the firmware update files from your site: DJI Mic 2 Firmware v04.04.05.13 for the receiver and transmitters and have followed your instructions to the letter. I connect the receiver to the computer using the USB-C cable provided and make sure it is in the off state and place the downloaded firmware update package .bin file under the root directory of the receiver. When I eject the receiver the updating process starts for 2 seconds and then gives an error message: RX UPDATE FAILED. RESTART AND TRY AGAIN.  I have spent MANY HOURS trying this over and over again and carefully going through the instructions and trying to google the problem, it's driving me nuts. Very disappointing DJI :-/

If you have the firmware version 04.04.06.11 then you have a more new version than the latest oficial version 04.04.05.13........ then you mic 2 dont update to a more old version.

are you sure than you have 04.04.06.11 firmware version already installed on you dji mic 2??????

same here; firmware on my mic 2 is 04.04.06.11 - so no @update@ working, changing to an older version like 04.04.05.13. just wonder, why dji doesn´t publish the latest release.
ps: btw, sometimes the action 4 doesn´t recognize the mic 2 if the mic is powered on before the cam - weired.

one more thing: after pairing another mic 2, the mic signalled to be paired by steady blue light, but the cam didn´t see it. had to reset the cam to defaults and perform a new pairing, followed by completely redoing all my settings again.
