Hello everyone.

So, had the FPV about 2 months. Learning m-mode. Flying exclusively in that mode.

So, crashed it a few times.

The bad:
Last crash, the whole frame broke a front arm, cracked a rear one, all props trashed, sensor ripped off and so did the cable, front plastics are garbage, and all the LEDS in both front wont come on.

The good: i essentially used “liquid nails” and CA glue for the arms. I bought the DJI braces and this helps keep it all together now. The sensor are not working… need a new cable. And front landing gear and LEDs are all dead.

Question - does anyone know if this is affecting antenna or range? I see the front landing gear has some ufl connections.

As far as the vision sensor board,  its super helpful to land. But cant use it now, landing in m-mode is a bit tricky.

But really, im back in the air flying. Gimbal, camera, all work. Still flying on a budget! Haha

I have pics, but not sure how to upload here.

I am sorry to hear about the mishap with your DJI drone. May I inquire where you're located? If a crash occurs, we recommend sending the DJI drone to our DJI service center for a thorough diagnosis and repair. It is our job to ensure future flight performance and safety. Do not fear; if the DJI Drone is still under warranty, we can send an investigation request and use data analysis to determine the cause. We will give you an offer depending on the results. To make an online request, go to our DJI official website and select Support > Request Repair Service Online, or go here: https://repair.dji.com/repair/index. Many thanks.

I guess the DJI fpv is not made for crashing and fixing yourself. I had a really bad crash that sounds similar to yours and I sent mine in and it was an astonishing 250 or so bucks only. If you want to crash and fix on a budget I'd get a nice 5" drone with the Caddx Vista as PNP so you can fly with the grey controller and the Goggles V2 (that you probably have if you have the DJI fpv). Here's an example https://geprc.com/product/geprc- ... reestyle-fpv-drone/ With the O3 they're up at more than 500 but still easier in the long run if you can fly manual (handling is much better anyway): https://shop.iflight.com/Nazgul5-V3-6S-HD-Pro1891 At a difference of maybe 55 bucks I'd get the O3 though. Keep off the GoPro and have a lighter quad...
