We'll that's the beginning of the end.  All these camera drones I have and the Avata/FPV comprise 90% of my flying time.  It's going to take time but once you settle it, it is really addicting.  I really wanted to get good with FPV which is why I spend so much time with it practicing and the Avata is perfect because it's not "wild" but it sure feels like it.  Good luck with that Avata, looks good!

Enjoy the Avata (original).  I think you'll really enjoy this drone (I own myself).  The Avata 2 will be a slight upgrade but you'll be very happy with the original as well.  One of the most fun drones I've flown and I've flown quite a few of them.  I lot of folks till dismiss the Motion Controller..but it works great!  

We still don't know for sure.  But I'm placing my bets on an April 11th, 2024 release date for the new 'Avata 2'.  Though, with all the pics and videos starting to pop up on the internet...I'm starting to think we may see the product released even sooner than that.  We'll find out soon enough!

The FPV Controller 3 is available now.  When I ordered my Avata 2 I added it to the cart.  It would not allow me to process the order stating "limited quantities available".  I ordered the Avata 2 package, then was able to successfully order the FPV Controller 3 separately.  Ironically, the FPV Controller 3 arrived next day, so I received it on Friday 4/12/24.  The Avata 2 shipped from California the same day.  I thought ordering the Avata 2 was supposed to include free Express Shipping, it shipped from California on 4/11/24 UPS Ground.  As I am all the way on the other side of the country, it is unlikely to arrive before late next week.  So I have the FPV Controller 3, but no Avata 2.
