DJI Mini 4 Pro EU/EASA C1 Compliance Authentication Stickers for your declassified C0 are not LEGAL, as you need REMOTE ID to be enabled.

But now, DJI seems to have provided a resolution.

Very interesting how you combined drone info with a cooking video.

Im still confused why anyone would want to change their C0 <249g drone to a C1.     Seems to defeat the purpose of having a heavily derestricted bird.

+ can officially use Plus batteries (over 250g as these are much heavier)
+ can use Mini 3 standard batteries (over 250g as these are bit heavier than Mini 4 ones)
+ can use green external night light/strobe (over 250g, required in EU as green lights on drone are off during filming)
+ can use propeller guards
+ can fly 500m above startup point instead of 120m (I assume primary reason for many pilots)
+ can still fly in A1/A3 (same as C0 drone)
- Remote ID
- requires A1/A3 certificate
- bit tighter restriction on flying over uninvolved people

Interesting to see. By the time I'm ready for my next drone it will all be sorted out (I hope)

Hi, at least in EU, you can't fly in OPEN with C1 drone above 120m ..

120m above ground level, which is different from 120m above startup point - in hills I can be 400m above startup point but still comply to 120m above ground level..
My understanding is that the reason why C0 drones are limited to 120m from startup point is that in this category you don't need to pass any education so to comply with rules it is hardlimited to 120m. However, for C1 and abobe A1/A3 exam is required, and here part of education is also explanation what it means 120 AGL, thus such drones are enabled to fly to higher altitudes above startup point expecting pilot is educated and aware of 120m AGL requirement.

Here in Germany the limit is 120m, everything is regulated down to the smallest detail. Is everything a little more relaxed for you?
