Sunrise at the Castle.....


A lovely calm morning,  with a lovely flight that was good for the soul.      And after capturing the sun coming up behind the hill I noticed I also caught the train for @Montfrooij - Im sure a lot of people were happy to see this train as weve had a train strike recently.

Thats the hill dropping from right to left.

Makes sense. And, as i look more carefully, the horizon on the right is level.

thanks DT.   From the sky the sun came up the right of the castle but at the bottom of the hill it looked like the left of it,  weird how perspective changes.

Seems thats the case with all the good weather at the moment.  I bet I manage to pickup the Avata 2 on Friday and then we get weeks of rain just to torment me.

Hopefully the weather can only get better - Lovely sunrise shot

Not yet,   it's ordered for collection on Sunday morning but Ive yet to get the security code to collect it,   getting a bit worried they will let me down.

I collected my Avata 2 this morning on the way back from the woods.    Currently getting things charged so that I can do all the firmware updates.    I have set the goggles up so I can see everything though,  and that took some fiddling to get the hang of it.   

I think Im going to run out of time today to maiden the Avata 2 though which is a shame.

It's rated for 25 minutes of flight and some of the reviews have said that it's too long,  and Ive not flown outside yet,  weather and chores are getting in the way.   Super bummed it's not being supported by flight sims.

I heard one of the reviewers talk about 17min. Which is impressive if you ask me.

For this type of drone it's very impressive.
