Hi there,
I have recieved my RS 4 Pro with the RavenEye transmission.  
When I have my Panasonic S1H Connected with HDMI to the RavenEye and go with my phone DJI Ronin App
The screen is sort of stuck with a white milky screen. (No, this absolutely not over exposure).
I have tried this too with my girlfriends phone with the same result so the phone is nog the problem.

It does show the image of the camera is follows where the gimbal is going. Albeit a milky screen and I can't corrected it 1.5 Anamorphic.
I can't use any buttons or functionality of the app. The doesn't respond and I need to force close the app. Reinstalling the app doesn't work tried this on both my GF's and my phone.

Any idea why the app shows white see screenshots of GF's and my phone?

Even though my S1H is connect via USB -C with the gimbal I cannot control the camera with the gimbal
Edit: This issue resolve to control the camera directly via the RS 4, but the Roning App milky screen does not allow me to control the camera nor the focus motor or control the gimbal in any way.

I have exactly the same problem with my new one DJI RS 4 PRO Combo & Panasonic lumix GH6. what are the solutions to this apparently common problem. Otherwise it's pointless Ronin Image Transmitter

I have exactly the same problem. Even if I use only the transmitter and do not connect any camera to it. Milky screen and frozen application.
Device from the RS 4 Pro Combo package.

Hello, I don't want to bother you. But someone from support. Will you reply or write any suggestion and solution to this milky white and frozen screen problem, when using DJI RS 4 Pro combo app RavenEye. The package Pro Combo is quite expensive and the investment is not justified if it cannot be used. Let's not get frustrated by DJI.  Please help!!!

Same problem here I can see only milky/almost white screen on my phone when connect to RavenEye. Everything is freezed. Also tried on another phone and tablet. It's just not working for now... I have Ronin RS4 Pro with Raveneye connected to BMPC 4K

Got the RS4 today with raveneye, same problem.

Got an S24ultra... White screen, you can still see and image,  but cannot go back, have to kill the app.

Now, i was able to fix it but I have NO CLUE how... and for now it keeps working after restarts and such, but then, I wanted to use my older phone as display, same problem again!
My daily phone still works. What happened was suddenly it stayed black, asked me to comfirm a popup to restart the raveneye to save some settings, not a clue why... and kept on working. Frustrating, caus its hard to trust now. Tbh, a classic DJI prank... Always something that just doesnt work out of the box.

I fixed my other phone now also, but i really have no clue what causes the fix, but i tried it a few time now, by uninstalling the app, and retry to fix it, and i can get it fixed.
Its a really weird procedure and they should fix the app, but what i do is connect to wifi raveneye, have bluetooth disabled (not sure this is relevant), install app again, go trough the popups, accept the permissions, ignore bluetooth question to connect to gimbal, immediatly click on raveneye, accept permission, click on top right "raveneye camera view", close/kill the app, (like you do in android, swipe it away), open again, cancel again the "popup for bluetooth to connect to gimbal", open the raveneye, no need to wait for it to scan..., it should ask again for extra permission (did for me, what didnt before) immediatly click again on top right to open camera view, it opens white for a fraction of a second and goes to normal "black" interface and from then on, its just ok... till you reinstall. I have been able to repeat this procedure atleast 4 times, and everytime, it fixed it...

BUT THIS IS REALLY MESSY!

If you want to use only the raveneye camera feed it's fine for that. I don't know what changed in the newer version.

Hi guys!! I had same problem here in 2 devices... my phone that is a pretty old Xiaomi mi 9t pro and a Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet.
I solved the phone just turning off developper option and debbug It was turned on, so I had the white screen - when I turned off, all its normal now...
But in the tablet I could not solve the issue, but is ok, because I know it is not "officialy" and android tablet lol... hope you get lucky

Hi I have 2 phone Samsung Note 10 lite and Xiaomi Redmi Note 8. I also tried my friend's phone and it also has a white screen problem.
I think Raveneye instructional windows want to appear on the screen, but they cannot.
Because I tried it with my iPhone, after connecting to ravene, the application introduced ravene settings.
I have a white screen problem on both of my phones. DJI should be capable of fixing this problem.

i have the same issue on s24 ultra, tried IP13 of.my friend and it worked, seems s24 ultra is not supported, which is creazy as it is flagship phone from well known manufacturer

I have the exact same problem!
I run the latest version of Ronin app (1.8.3) installed on a Xiaomi Poco F5.
Until 2 months ago, I never had any problems and everything was working perfectly for the last 4 years!
When my mobile OS was upgraded to Hyper OS the problems started...
At first the Ronin app wouldn't open at all and I ended up downloading an older version (1.6.6) as someone else suggested above...
This solution worked for a few days and then the same thing happened again!
So right now the only Ronin app version that opens and don't crash, is the latest one (1.8.3), but as soon as it connects to raveneye and goes to stream video from the camera, suddenly within 1 second the screen turns white and you can't see anything! (See my upload photos)
USB debugging also didn't work for me!
My gear : DJI RS2 Pro + Raveneye + Sony A7M3 + Xiaomi Poco F5
@DJI please help and fix that thing, It's terribly irritating!

Same problem here.
I tried it on four different phones (Samsung A52, S23, old Redmi and Realme GT ME - all failed. Interestingly, older versions of the Ronin app do not even start on either of these phones.
Tomorrow I'll do a crosscheck with another Raveneye unit and another phone that works fine. I bought Ronin only for Raveneye, and now I'm stuck with this useless turd.

I can confirm that the problem lies with beginner guide that shows after connecting to transmitted. The white overlay is animation that freezes and makes the app unusable.
Solution is simple - the guide needs to be turned off as a default. Bad news - only DJI can do it. As seen above - they don't care, so probably we are stuck with this problem for a while...

To all who have this milky screen problem. Try to disable any hotspot connection (and option)and USB debugging on your phones. It works for me on Redmi note 12
