After the latest update to the DJI Fly software, I seem to have lost the N for Normal flight mode and it's replaced with a P.

Others have noticed this also.  Must have been a mistake in the coding of the recent update.  No doubt DJI will get this fixed.

A Rose by any other name would smell as sweet, does it matter what the name of a particular flight mode is ?

P = Position mode or P-GPS its that same as Normal.

Name in App should match name on RC.

Weird that DJI would change the name on the Fly App to one that doesn't match what is on the remote controller. I think one of the coders gooned it in the latest FW update.

It's a throwback.  Normal Mode used to be called [P]osition Mode.

Ah but do DJI label their controller models consistantly ? Doesn't the RC231 differ from the RC N1 in the labelling of one or more of the flight modes ?
