Hi. I bought propeller guards by DJI, which states is for Mini 3 Series, standard and pro. The manual speaks only for the Pro version, and not the Mini 3 Standard. It also says to be sure to have the firmware v.01.00.0450 or later, or it can't guarantee stabilization. Mini 3 is right now (April 2024) at .0410 version.

I tried flying it, but it's dangerously unstable. Any idea how to deal with this?


Also, are these that terrible of Propeller Guards? Because I see NO REVIEWS of them anywhere.



Also... is Mini 3 discontinued? I'm having trouble finding accessories for it in Brazil, which has not many problems importing from the US.

Same thing here. I stopped flying with them outside because of that. In dead calm. That was with Pro. The 360 prop guards seem only to work inside. I don't think the Mini 3's gone, but time will tell.

Just to confirm, the firmware v01.00.0450 or later requirements for propeller guards is only for the DJI Mini 3 Pro (current firmware is v01.00.0700) not with DJI Mini 3. Also, please note that after installing a propeller guard onto DJI Mini 3 the maximum flight speed will decrease, and the flight range will be limited to ensure flight safety. The obstacle avoidance is also unavailable after installing the propeller guards. Lastly, the DJI Mini 3 is still available on our store website and the after-sales services for this product are still available therefore this product is not discontinued. I had the same issue, they did a data analysis and I was told it was “my fault” even though the day I crashed it was way after I use the  propeller guards

So I think these, even when advertised for Mini 3 series, and posts saying it's for both, it's actually not for Mini 3?
