Battery flashes 3 times per second after DJI mini 4 pro is plugged into the charger. The device just came from the service after gimbal replacement. Is this a service error or something else?

Suggest 1). charging the battery on its own by taking the other two out
2). Charging the battery in the drone.

Then maybe that will cure it, wirth a try. Good luck.

You dont plug the mini4 into the charger, you plug a suitable usb charger into the battery hub to charge the batteries, or plug a charger into the mini4 usb port to charge the battery that is in the drone.

Thank you for reaching out. If the 3 LEDs blinks it could be the battery is damaged, could check the appearance of the battery is damaged or bulging or swollen.

①Ensure that the charging temperature range for the intelligent flight battery is within the required range;

② Change another port of the charging hub for charging. If the battery can be charged normally, it indicates that the battery port of the charging hub is abnormal. If the charging still fails, change the charging method, use a charger and ensure that the battery is not in hibernation mode;

③ Please check the battery LED status, comparing to the battery LED status to confirm if the battery protection information is triggered by abnormal charging;

④ Try to use another battery in the same charging port and observe whether the charging is abnormal. If it charges normally, it indicates that the first battery is abnormal. If the charging still fails, please use a charger for charging.

Kindly do let us know if the issue still persist.

When I plug it into the Mini 4 Pro, it gives this light error and the battery does not charge. I'm sure the problem is the battery, the drone works and charges my other batteries. I think the battery protects itself. Otherwise the lights would not come on. Is there such a thing as resetting the battery?

Hi there, thank you for sharing the video above. Upon checking, we're showing, if the LEDs blink simultaneously indicates the battery is damaged. Can you try to discharge the battery and then charge it again? You'll have an option to discharge the battery on the app under battery settings.

I've attached a picture below for reference on possible reasons for the continuous blinking. Kindly let us know if the issue still persists for us to investigate further on this for you.

Really? are you sure about that, I have never seen anything about this in the app or any app that DJI offers, are you referring to the "time to discharge" that was part of the GO and GO4 app but sadly not part of the fly app

I had this issue and the battery would simply not work at all, so no option to "discharge". After making a video illustrating the problem, received a return label from DJI and got a replacement within warranty.
