Some pretty amazing footage flying through a volcano in Iceland and he asks the question, "Did the Drone Survive?".

They don't say what drone they used but they use the hashtag #djiglobal, so I assume it's a DJI Drone.

Apparently they did get it back too, and when the signal was lost it set itself in RTH mode, although it sounds like a bit of a kamakazi run, as the props were totally knackered and the battery also melted a bit too.

Was it worth it to basically cook your drone ?

Jaw dropping that they got away with it, like a sci-fi movie dodging rocks etc. in the forbidden zone of Star Trek Enterprise.

I agree, amazing none of those flying pieces of hell rock hit the drone.

It is incredible footage but still, even though his drone is knackered his controller will be okay
