its not for that i  clip it to my shirt take notes when screen recording and to record if i get bothered by karans ok some people put them on the drone and fly fpv the sound of the motors can be cool at times might try it some time happy flying

I think he is recording at the controller position, useful when using screen recording. Can then be added to the drone video in post. Commentary etc.

I always find that takes the element of recording outside out of the equation, I much prefer to do things like app testing, mode testing etc out in the field and talk about what im doing whilst doing it.
