I want to start recording myself using my DJI Mavic 3 Pro CINE & Remote Controller. As of now, if I buy the DJI Mic 2 I have to use the screen recording function, plug in a Type-C for DJI RC at the bottom of the remote controller, and put the audio/video together in post production.

Can anyone suggest a better - easier way to record myself speaking while using my drone?

Thanks for your help.

External audio recorder. Then sync in post.

It doesn't make much sense to have a camera that can shoot in 4k ProRES only to use a highly compressed variable frame rate 1080 screen recording as the video. Record audio separately or better yet in a studio environment afterwards. That way you can have the full video quality along with it.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. I would advise to use DJI Mic adapter which allows you to plug a wired microphone directly into the Mavic 3 Pro CINE remote controller. This also keeps your audio and video synchronized without the need for additional devices. Don't hesiatte to contact back if there's any additional inquiry.

Thank you for your support!

That's so interesting because DJI told me yesterday that the DJI Mike 2 would work perfectly!

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. You can absolutely use DJI Mic 2 to work with your DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine. DJI Mic 2 is a wireless microph9one system which can be connected via Bluetooth and support standalone recording and intelligent noise cancelling. For more details you can always refer to the User Manual at

Thank you for your understanding and support!
