I have noticed a ton of "gimble stuck" searches. as I was searching the same thing. I have been getting this error message for quite a while now, but just recently decided to dive into it. my problem ended up being an issue with the ribbon cable. a small, almost unnotacable, break in the ribbon cable was causeing the camera not to be able to move with the remote durring flight. i could not calibrate the gimble, i could not move the camera durring flight. the cameras feed seemed to be un-inturupted durring flight.

the camera would also do the start up movements it does when powered on by itself. this propted me to belive that it was a software issue as the camera did move. just not with my control.

all in all i found very little helpful info about my situation. once i decided to replace the ribbon cable it worked like it should. i was skeptical that the ribbon cable was the issue because as i said, it was a very descreet dammage. but it worked!

i wanted to poat his here for anyone else who might be having a similar issue with no luck. good luck!

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

We apologize for the inconvenience. If possible, can you share the screenshot of your error message? Alternatively, please follow the troubleshooting steps below and see if you can isolate the issue.

1. Please check whether there is debris on the gimbal. If yes, clean off them, restart the aircraft, and calibrate the gimbal.

2. Please try powering off the aircraft and move the gimbal gently in every angle with your hand, and check whether there is any debris in the gimbal. If not, power on the aircraft and calibrate the gimbal.

3. And remove the aircraft’s microSD card and Power on the aircraft and then calibrate the gimbal.

Let us know if the issue persists. Thank you.

I tried a number of different things before i actually found the issue. Seems as though a bunch of things can cause this issue. if you search the internet for "gimble stuck mini 2" you will see a variety of issues and possible fixes. i would start with the easiest ones and work your way through them. in my case it was the cables that had just a small pinch and needed replacement. but in many cases the solution is much simpler. if you do need to replace the cable, it is actually simple if you have a little bit of paitence and some time to research.

mine has a little resistance just past the level point when i try to rotate it from up to down manually with my fingers.  i have tried blowing out any debris with canned air but its still getting stuck and not able to move all the way up to all the way down.
