Is it possible to use another device (e.g. phone with Mimo app) to turn on / off recording on the Mic2 remotely? It would be quite useful for when the Mic 2 is placed somewhere difficult to get to. I realise the Pocket 3 can be used with them remotely, but that is with the audio being recorded to the Pocket 3, which is not 32 bit float.
When I tried adding the Mic 2 to the Mimo app it didn't seem to pick it up as a device that could be connected.

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

The DJI Mimo app is not required for operating the DJI Mic 2. Your feedback is valuable, and we will ensure it is considered as a request and passed on to the relevant team for review. Thank you for your input.

You can refer to this link for more information: DJI Mic 2 User Manual

Should you have any other questions, kindly message us here for assistance.

Use the Action 4, or Pocket 3 as the controller, place the Mic anywhere within range and  you can use the Camera, and or App.
In the camera you can set the Internal Audi to record as well good luck with getting DJI to  add in  what you're asking they can not even make an addition to the App to control the Mic2 TX stand alone and Rx

I wouldn't be so pessimistic you can use Mic2 RX in order to control Mic2 TX, and actually in this way you can control two mics at the same time.

Are you sure that records 32 bit float? AFAIK the audio stream of the video only records up to 24 bit int. I just tested it to be sure and it didn't record any separate audio files.

I don't have the Mic 2 TX, so I can't test this, but are you sure you can use it to trigger the Mic 2s to record internally (in order to get 32 bit float)? I thought it was just for receiving the audio from the Mics and it didn't support 32 bit float output.

I'll explain:Iwasnot being negative in any way was being helpful and as I am helpful, this is the way it is done;

RX is not needed, does not act as a Remote control, it can control    assigned features the OP3 and OA4 can not do that the Rx does, like Auto Record.

Step 1 turn on the camera. and DJI Mic 2 Tx.   open the Cog, to Wireless Mic. Choose Auto to video Synch, and 32 bit float. and close out
Done.

Go place the DJI mic 2 Tx in the spot you desire, and when you press either the Mimo app camera record, or camera only record, that acts as the Remote control, you  now have a separate audio 32 bit float, but you also have a video/audio made by the camera. if you Need  unlimited or extended run time, simply plug a Powerbank in for up to 40 hours of audio record time

Regards FISH

do you own   a stand alone, a camera  need a video t demonstrate, simply ask ,I be more then happy to show

One thing to remember the distance, and blocking objects..

I didn't think you were being negative at all. Thanks very much for your instructions, I didn't have Audio to Video sync turned on. Turned that on like you suggested and now I get a nice 32 bit float file on the Mic2.

Thanks for the help!

You are very Welcomed,  as that is the part simply overlooked,   Glad you resolved it, Till DJI can come up with an  Addition to the App, that is the only way we all can do it.  I have a Rode wireless Pro, the only  extra that has is Limited use of the App they got   can set a few things that is all.  Glad to have helped out
