It would be nice if there was a way to create different rate profiles, that I could then assign to any of the buttons; this way when I'm out in the open and want some faster rates, I can turn them on, and when I get in tight spaces I can turn the "sensitivity" down.

On my non-dji FPV gear I have my transmitter setup like this, even some adjusted throttle curves as well.  It greatly enhances the control capabilities allowing for more dynamic flights. (^_^)

Hopefully dji could consider, would be useful to me too in cases.

On non- DJI , but older fixed wing and quad platforms have the flexibility to set a switch to modes.  Add another switch for 3 different rates and another switch for 3 different level of expos.  Set audio to tell me which setting I've just selected. Really flexible for different flying needs.  

DJI FPV RC3 might not have enough channels and switches. But...Wonder if software could be written to allow 3 manual profiles being set to the mode rocker switch? Instead of N,S, and M you have different manual settings assigned to N,S, or M position.
