I lost video today when I was about 4000 feet away, hit RTH and it seemed to come back very slowly.. A little to slow for me..


Can you modify the speed of the aircraft during return to home ? Can the speed be increased to make it come back faster if you are far away and lose video feed.


Also what is the most efficient RTH speed to travel at ?


Is faster better than slower for  battery life...

Did you pay attention to the wind amount and direction?    If you came back upwind, it will take much longer and eat your battery time.

If you still have a green light on the controller when you loose video, it means you still have control of the drone. The return speed on the auto RTH is limited but you can press forward  after it starts heading back and it will increase the speed.

the standard speed of RTH is 3.5 mps you can increase or decrease the speed during Go-home by pitching aircraft

Wind was not a factor. I check wind before each flight.

mps: That is METER per seconds. Not Miles per Seconds.
