Anyone using a Tentacle Sync to get time code to their Action 4? My settings are all correct it just seems it worked then the next day it didn't. Haven't changed anything. Tentacle Sync E MKII. Saramonic SR-C2001 cable. Bring up the time code screen on the Osmo, plug the cable in and boom......sync failed and Tentacle says "cable unplugged" I'm like WTF!!!! This all worked a 100x up to 2 days ago.

Tried this with a Tentacle Track E, same cable and it all worked. I can't believe my Sync E is pooched after like 3 months.

If you are using "TentacleSync Timecoder", please follow the steps below.

1）Ensure the device firmware has been updated to the latest version.

2）Write Timecode into the "Timecode device" through the adapted "Tentacle Apps";

3）Power on the camera and enter the timecode setting interface;

4）Set the corresponding frame rate in "TENTACLE APPS" according to the video frame rate displayed on the camera timecode setting interface

5）After the synchronization of the timecoder and APP is completed, connect the "timecoder" to camera through the 3.5mm to USB-C cable, which will automatically complete the synchronization;

6）After a while, when camera displays "Synchronization successful, please unplug the external timecoder" the timecode synchronization is completed.

7）If there are other pieces of equipment, you can complete the corresponding synchronization in turn.
