It was a perfect hiking day. Dry and still, but with a bit of light cloud cover. It's about 60 miles north of us, and slightly west.

Definitely. About 2hrs by car as it's all minor roads.

Fingers crossed it wont be as bad as it looks,    a little wainwright in the rain is planned for tomorrow.   A warm up for Scafell.

A couple of scrambles from what Ive seen.      We'll take the easiest route this time.      I doubt we did enough training as it is.

I will let SWMBOd set the pace,  otherwise I tend to go off too fast on the hill climbs.

Thats the plan,  and at least for todays fell in the rain I think I get to leave done behind completly,  less weight is always good.

I may pop the Mini in the car just in case.    A fell then a little hunt for a watermill that I think could be a great photo,   but not this trip but we can do the hunting for it now so nest time its quicker to do.

It does amaze me how I sometimes get no signal around a city but 5G in the middle of nowhere
