My mate got me a media pass for an event at this track (mini bikes), buuuuut .. zoom out a bit .. there's a frikkin' airport !!!
I have serious doubts. Even if I was to fly 10m max (don't need more for passing by bikes anyways) - WILL IT EVEN FLY THERE?

"No used.... the airport club is.... you can fly there just not over 400ft" - REALLY?

Its a Blue so

The round blue areas on the map indicate Aerodrome Traffic Zones, they surround smaller airports and aerodromes that do not have additional controlled airspace. Other areas of blue identify Controlled Airspace. If you are operating a drone above 7kg you must not fly in these areas without prior permission from the air traffic service provider controlling that airspace.If you are under 7kg, it is still strongly advised to notify the air traffic service provider of your activity.
Its not on DJI no fly zone though below

Its not on the list of NFZ so should fly but it is an active airport. Unless you are given permission and make no money from it, I would leave the P3 at home.. The racetrack is even on their grounds. The last thing you want is to be "that guy" on the news.

cheers sploodge! I have permission from the race circuit's organizer, but would I need to have a word with Tower as well? Don't want to do anything stupid here, taking this hobby seriously!

I would definitely have a chat with them.. You are bound to raise a few eyebrows if there are real aircraft flying about..
