I know... I used to live in Europe...
Here in Australia, you have two kind of people: The pretending animal lover and the real animal lover..
The pretending group use cages, leashes... anything that can force the poor animal to stay, while the real use their love to build up on the essential friendship and trust. Horse lover (pony club members) are probably the worse...
I always felt bless, once I got here in Australia, to meet some of these people.. From horse whispers that can simple and gently ask a horse to enjoy and play together, to the hundreds of animal rescue people, spread out across the continent. In their open backyard, you will see and meet some of the most unbelievable characters.. When people say that we are the most intelligent of the animal kingdom, I often really wonder if that's truly the case... I can't say that I'm convinced...
Here you will often meet an old person with some breed of birds (or it can be a baby Koala) on their shoulder, doing their shopping or simply walking around... It seems to me that most animals are much better at judging characters than we are...
This is Bruno. It has been a good friend for the past 3 years. He doesn't talk much and he sleeps a lot...
