I have just recently done a update on my mini pro 4 and DJI goggles and since the update when. Using the goggles the zoom does not work when videoing , it works when viewing through the DJI R/C , any help would be great .

Have you checked your filming with a setting that supports zoom.

bonjour. question . je suis a c1 avec mini 4 pro et je souhaite revenir a la mise a jour DJI RC 2 : v02.02.0300   car depuis ce mois ci avec la .0700 mes batteries 3850 longue durées ne sont plus reconnues . Connaissez vous un truc pour revenir à l'ancienne version et supprimer la dernière mise a jour ?

Zoom is ok with RC2.
But when goggles 3 in use, no zoom anymore.

It is recommended to refresh the firmware. When DJI Goggles 3 works with DJI Mini 4 Pro, zoom is supported if DJI RC-N2 or DJI RC 2 is used. For DJI RC 2, zoom control can be achieved by using camera control dial.

The reason is clearly due to the faulty Flyapp 15.4. I have already reported it to DJI. To fix the error, you will need to downgrade the RC2 controller again using the wizard, which will also revert the Flyapp to a previous version. The controller can then be updated to the latest version again. The Flyapp then requires an extra update to 15.4. But you should definitely not do this.
With Flyapp version 15.0 the zoom works again

I have the same issue - mini 4 Pro, Googles 3, RC 2  ....  WithOUT the Googles 3 - Zoom In/Out works fine (with RC 2)   ...   With Googles 3 - Zoom In/Out does NOT work (with RC2). So as I understand Skywalker 42, the workaround is to downgrade the Flyapp RC2 firmware to v15.0 and it should work. You get the feeling that dji is very much an organisation of "silos". The mini 4 Pro "silo" does not talk to the Flyapp "silo" and they don't talk to the RC2 "silo". The Flyapp "silo" have their firmware release plan for the next version and now have to stop their development to either add this bug fix to the next version or push the bug fix out to version after that. Because of the "silos" dji overall, is not in touch with the use cases of the users. So we the users have to sit around twiddling our thumbs waiting for a piece of functionality we had before that has now gone away and won't come back for a while. It is like apple pushing out a new update to their phones and the users loose the pinch/spread functionality by updating the phone. That would not happen - happens here a bit too often.

I am having the same problem and am wondering when DJI will rectify it,

I thought it was happening only when I recorded video, but just checked and no zoom also when just flying. Surprised that more people aren’t complaining about this!

DJI when will you sort this out?

I am wondering why I see nothing about this problem on Reddit. Is it just a problem that a select few are having?

Rather frustrating when I contacted DJI regarding the problem. They gave me the “boilerplate” response.

Having the same problem on DJI Mini pro 4 goggles 3 & RC updated firmware on all 3. Very frustrating to spend that kind of $$ and not have the most wanted feature. Hopefully they will fix, with next update.
