Hi DJI,

I've been having great fun recently with the Neo. I'm going to be doing some long term travelling in a few years and hope to have the ultimate travel drone to take with me. There are a few features which would be amazing to see on a Neo 2 and would definitely make it the best travel drone on the market. I've shared my thoughts below which I hope is of help. Would love to hear of any other users ideas for new features too.

Must haves
1.        True vertical video mode like the Mini 3
2.        Foldable design

Nice to haves
1.        Miniaturised controller
2.        Quieter propellers
3.        Better sensor
4.        SD card slot
5.        Stabilisation

how? There are no sensors

FLIP might fill your needs.  Outside of the MSRP.  

Personally would like the next gen Neo to become more of an immersive flier.  Fill the void left by DJI FPV, but sub250gm.


1.Similar design as current Neo, but with the option to remove the propeller guard rings.  Might reduce manual mode hard yaw washout. If using the guards.  Easy user replacement if damaged.
2.Remove all the autonomous mode hardware.
3.Improved IR/Visual downward sensors.  Replace with something similar or identical to the Avata2 sensors.
4.Improved GPS module. Again, maybe the Avata2's GPS module?
5.Larger capacity battery if it will result in a moderate to significant improvement in flight times without a loss in performance (agility and throttle response).  
6. Higher speeds in S mode (minimum of 11m/sec) and M mode(minimum 20m/sec) without stressing out the motor if improvements do not significantly reduce flight times and performance.
