I already own goggles 2 purchased with FPV drone. Since then I moved my FPV drone to goggles 3 and now I have unused goggles 2. Besides flying drones another hobby that I have are ship models. I was wondering if I can buy aftermarket camera with trasmitter that can connect to goggles 2 to be used as FPV system on the ship model. The ship is already radio controlled with non DJI RC system. So the camera - goggles will be used strictly as FPV system without DJI controller. Is this possible?

You can use the O3 but I think it has to be armed so you probably need a flight controller as well. Never done it myself. I think Joshua Bardwell once did a video. Maybe this helps:

That's an interesting product (if you want to build an fpv car or whatever). Didn't know it, just the problem it seems to solve...

If I recall correctly he also links to an open source project so you could build a basic version for free.
