asking for a friend :-)


Should i wait for mini 5 pro, or buy Flip?

Love drones, lost my mini 2, and want to buy a new one.

Either one of them should be a great upgrade, and would go for mini 5 pro without a doubt, but ir migth take a lot of months maybe a year..

@DjiPanda, can i have your valid opinion?

Not everybody needs the latest and greatest

Im waiting for the Mini 5.  

Mini 5 is a chimera no one knows when and if and what... but Mini 4 Pro is a great drone and present Flip sounds good but lack of goggles support and Very bad wind behavior made him a no go for me ;)

Mini 3 pro not on sale anymore.
If i wanted the greatest would go for a Mavic.

My point on buying the 5 pro would be to keep it for 4/5 years and still have a decent drone.
Just like i did with my mini 2

You can still find it with local dealers here.
But less and less.
I'm planning on keeping the 3 Pro for at least 5 years yes.
It's a big step up from the mini 2 where I'm also coming from.
You can also get a good deal on a 2nd hand one.
some find out drones are not for them rather soon after buying.
My first drone was 2nd hand. Very good value for money.

Hey bro I heard that the mini 5 Pro should be released about July 2025. But there is mini 4 Pro.

In my opinion, a Mini 4 Pro or even a Mini 3 Pro (except for the Log-M color profile) are much better choices than the Flip. At this moment I can't imagine which new improvements a future Mini 5 could bring us

More or less the features of Air3S, half of internal storage.
wich would be pretty amazing.

And only one sensor, I think that we are never going to see a mini with telephoto

Why not wait for the Flip 2 or Mini 6?

My plan is to log another 10 hours at least of fly time and then upgrade to the Mini 5 pro when it comes out



The 3 pro and 4 pro seem very expensive to break or lose, the 3 coming with no warranty as it be second hand the the 4 being a lot of money, I'd be scared to fly it as much as I would the flip and that's just defeats the point

seems nice.
Just dont expect Mini 5 pro to be less expensive than the 4 pro.
I bet it will have more features, sepcs and technology and will be costly also.

Mini 6 will be maybe less or more expensive than the 5, and have more or less sepcs
