I just took my first card payment from myself for a £1 test,  Next I can load up a catalog of items to make it simple at checkout.

You definitely weren't risk averse to flying in that dense fog.  I'm pretty sure I would have not launched but that's just me.

Ive gone with Sumup.  No monthly fees,  1.6% transaction fee,    lots of POS options and the option to have QR codes for online payment that I will be investigating.

I wouldn't have flown in a new spot thats for sure,    but I know that area really well.

So far they seem very professional,  the fees are very fair and one of the guys I know that does repair work has used it for a while.

Yeah, eventually they switched to one of their bank, but that was when they got many more transactions.

My bank actually charges the same transaction fee for us mere mortals.  And they charge set up fees etc.

Yes a lot.
Works great.
No need for a card.
Either a general QR code where the payer can decide the amount, or a specific one for 'that' amount.
We use it all the time.

Thats good to know.    I setup a couple of testing and they make a lot of sense to me,  but I wondered how real people would cope with them.   Sounds like it's a practical solution then.   cheers.

We use them at church a lot when people do fundraisings and you can just scan the code and set the amount. The good thing is that it's linked to a specific payment request, so you can see (in your payments overview) what it was for.

No doubt about strobes coming in handy.  I've been using them on my Air3S on my early morning and late evening surveillance flights.  Only way I can maintain VLOS when they get to the back of my property.  Unfortunately, they are also a giveaway to trespassers that see the drone coming.

Ive got a velcro pad on the back of the battery so that I can see it flying away from me,  but anything its approaching can't really see it,     and then to fly back without giving away a location I just fly backwards the last bit.
