I'm using the Phantom 3 Standard.  I'm noticing noticable quailty drop when I drop the videos into Sony Vegas Pro and render them into a new format.  Anyone have any experience with Vegas Pro, that might be able to recommend project settings and a render format that will pop out the raw HD footage quality I pull off the camera?
Thanks!

inorder to get the quality back you have to export and render the file. what your seeing in the program is a live view of all the changes youve made witch has to be calculated and displayed frame per frame.

also if youre trying to scale the resolution up will diminish your quality. if you shoot in 720p you cannot go up to 1080p without it looking like crap

I'm shooting in 2.7k with 1080p.

It can't be both
Vegas probably has options for bitrate when you render.
The format you choose depend on final use.
For youtube H.264 is the best container and for 1080p try a bitrate about 15 to 20.
You can go higher but the file size becomes much larger.

Cool, I'll try rendering some stuff out with those numbers and see how it goes.  Thanks!
