I have used the waypoint mode several times with limited success.  The failure occurs at the beginning of the "mission" once it starts.  Both failures occured by the I1 losing altitute sharply and mushing the camera into the ground for a few seconds, then flies the mission fine.

Anyone else experience this?

An obvious but necessary question:

Are you setting the first waypoint at very low/low altitude?

I think I know why it's doing this.  After a few minutes of flying, my displayed altitude is way higher than actual.  I'm guessing when I started the previous missions, the altimeter was incorrect and the drone started a descent to acquire the waypoint altitude.  Time for a new post regarding wrong altimeter.
