Is there an easy, free way to convert 60FPS video to 30FPS?  I've got nothing to play 60FPS on right now and accidentally shot some excellent video last night in that configuration.  I'm hoping there is a way to convert it to something I can view.  Will be replacing the computer sometime in the next few months, so there's hope on the horizon, but not right now.

First thought is take the free adobe premier trial.   You can export it down to 30 FPS for sure there as I have done it.  Also use Gopro after you bring it in to go pro hopefully in MP4 format you can change it to 30 fps by clicking advanced settings on the bottom and change it from 30 fps to 60.  It will convert it to an AVI file but then you can do what you want with that file after you go to the next step.
Hopefully that made some sense because I think I had a few to many.  LOL!

Good luck.

I found a tool on Google that could help you convert 60fps videos into 30fps. Good luck!

Try Hanbrake. Www.Handbrake.fr. It's free and works really well.

Thanks, Jerry.  I've never messed with video on the computer before, so didn't even know it was there.    Will take a look.  In the meantime, I did get it converted with Handbrake, but the resolution is poor.  It's probably got to do with something in my settings for output format or some other unknown (to me).

Handbrake is a very powerful tool, but you need to know what you are doing with it. Try experimenting with the quality of the rendered result, there is a slider that affects the quality. The resolution should not be affected unless you are converting to a lower resolution.
