I just did DJI GO 2.4.0 update on my iPad Mini 4 with the iOS 9.0.2 and did the new RC firmware 1.4.30 update as well.

RC update was done directly from the App in less than 5 min. Great and simple.

I did a quick flight and everything works perfect for me here.

I got android and just updated RC only. Is there any release notes about this new RC firmware?

I did not see any release notes about the RC update firmware.

As far I can see this is what has changed
1. Added support for Zenmuse X5 series gimbal.
2. Support bandwidth allocation feature for Lightbridge 2.
3. Bug fixes.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   4. adjust Gimbal Roll on C2

Rebooted, same problem.

I unistalled DJI GO, clear all file, downloaded DJI GO app on DJI website ad .apk

Same problem. So sad.

I got my brand new P3 Pro today and did all the updates to latest version mentioned above successfully.

All went well, but YouTube stream refuses to start.  I get my encoder started, but the streaming piece never starts.  The link is generated and it works on the site, but you get the "about to start" screen since the streaming actually never starts from within the DJI GO app.  I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S6 with plenty of memory.  I tried both Video on and off.  I did not take off.  Any ideas if this is a bug in the new version???? Since it's my first experience, I don't have a prior reference, but several folks indicated to me that it did work on a prior version.  Appreciate your help.....

The new rc firmware 1.4.30 has shorten the battery life of my inspire 1, at least 30% off. TB47 only lasts around 10-12mins, TB48 lasts 15mins max. Has anyone noticed that??

I have notice that I get a weak signal warning or I loose the signal completely more than I did before the firmware upgrade.  I have been grounded for sometime because of the strong winds in my  area.  I did get a fight in when the winds died down and notice my signal is normal flying down wind but up wind in the same direction the signal problem reappears.
Is this just a weather issue?
