I just got my drone few months and bunch of people advised to get a license... But now I just saw now that you need to register it before xmas, is it true ?

No, it is not true. The DOT is proposing to bring in a law, there is no law yet so you do not need to register your aircraft. Keep an eye on this forum and you will see updates on what is going. Above all, remember the cover of the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy: DON"T PANIC!
