I lived in Bangkok, Thailand, owned Phantom 2 Vision+ and now here to greet DJI upon the launched of new forum.

Machine is good but battery life are ....... (please fill the blank)
In two months, I already lost 2 smart battery with only 17 and 19 flight.
from almost 20 minutes flight time now only 3-4 minutes and start descend to land.

Will there be any improvement on battery quality?

I have only had 20 charges, but still no noticeable difference in flight time.

Maybe a dodgy batch in Bangkok?

In Thailand, our Phantom 2 users we had this battery issues quite a major concern here.
Around 200 cases found here already. Mostly with around 20 flights and has this battery thing. Maybe defect or maybe we live in too hot country.

Sorry to hear that wachirarat... it really is very moist & hot there, i remember from my vacation.

Hope you all find a solution to that problem.

I to have this problem, 2 smart batteries, 20 charges each, only about 3min. Flying time then auto land.
At $200.00 Aust.  That's $ 10.00 a flight!!   To expensive!!!    I will have to wait until there is some kind of fix.

Here in south of France it's quite warm also but I had no problems with batteries.
I hope they sell "real original batt" in BKK because I going there this winter for vacation and the plane compagnies don't accept batt. on board.
So I've got to buy batt. in BKK.

Buy the way...when I am looking to the picture of Wachirarat from above the city (of BKK I guess) I am dreaming of it... because here in France it took me more than a year to get autorisation and I had to past a flying permit ...
And even with all that if I am flying over city i go to jail.

Sorry to hear about your problem with your batteries. I have two, both have been charged 35 times, no issues.

Pi chai... You sure battery is original and not from 3rd party made or refurb battery? Bought online or from shops im krung thep??
